Window

I like the way the light shines through the petals. I was given the word Window, and I had seen some photos by Daniel Kukla and decided to create my own, fitting the word Window. When I was little, I always looked into mirrors and imagined I was looking into another world, through a window. 

When I was making the photographs, I tried to make the reflection in the mirror as contrasting as possible, so when people look at them the photos look unnatural and take a while to figure out.

The night photograph was taken with the flash set off behind the camera, so the reflection in the mirror was brighter than the majority of the photograph.
