I took these photos at home. I used my black blind as the background, by curving the bottom of it around and under the flowers, it creates an infinity background. this is where you cant tell where the background is in relation to the subject.
I used a little light to highlight the subject and not the background.
I used a macro extension tube on my lens. The photos had to have a longer time exposure than i can hold, so i used a tripod to ensure the photos are clear.
because the aperture is wide open the depth of field is very shallow, I like this effect as it brings the flowers to life in the photos.
